Hidush Foundation is a not-for-profit company registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U74900MH2015NPL266272), with its office at 405 Pearl Plaza, Opp. Andheri Railway Station West, Next to New McDonald’s, Andheri West, Mumbai 400058.

1. Information We Collect and Why

When you donate online

• What: full name, phone number, email address, PAN, address (optional), and the donation amount.
• Why: to process your donation, issue your receipt, and meet our reporting duties under the Income Tax Act.
• Your payment is processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. Your card, bank account or UPI details are entered on Razorpay's page. We do not receive or store them.

When you use our contact form or write to us

• What: your name, email address, and the subject and content of your message.
• Why: to reply to you.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To process donations and issue receipts.
• To share updates about our programs, activities, and impact (only if you have opted in).
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use your information for any other purpose.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only where needed:

• With Razorpay, to process your donation.
• With the service providers that host our website and deliver our forms and emails, strictly so those services can work.
• With government and tax authorities, where the law requires it. For example, donation details are reported to the Income Tax Department.

4. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires us to keep donation and accounting records.

5. Data Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a security incident affects your personal information, we will inform you as required by law.

6. Your Rights

You may ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct or update it.
• Delete it, unless we are required by law to keep it.
• Stop sending you updates. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

To make a request, write to the contact person named below. We will respond as soon as we can and in any case within the time allowed by law.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
