Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Hidush Foundation, we value the trust and support of our donors, partners, and well-wishers. Every contribution made to us is used to support our programs in education, health, nutrition, infrastructure, and environment.

1. Donations

• All donations made to Hidush Foundation are voluntary, non-refundable, and non-transferable, except as set out in sections 2 and 3 below.
• Once a donation is received, it will be used for charitable purposes and cannot be returned.
• Donors are responsible for providing correct information (such as name, email, address, PAN, etc.) at the time of donation.

2. Duplicate or Mistaken Donations

• In case of an accidental or duplicate donation, or a donation made for a wrong amount by mistake, please contact us at hidushfoundation@gmail.com within 7 working days of the transaction.
• Please include your name, the date and amount of the donation, and the payment or transaction reference.
• After verification, we may refund or adjust the extra donation amount.
• Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method within 14 working days of approval. Your bank may take additional time to show the credit.

3. Failed or Unauthorised Transactions

• If a donation is deducted from your bank account but does not reflect in our records, please write to us at hidushfoundation@gmail.com with the transaction details.
• We will coordinate with the payment gateway or bank to resolve the issue.
• If you believe a donation was made from your account without your permission, please inform your bank immediately and also write to us.

4. Cancelling a Monthly Donation

• You can stop a monthly donation at any time. There is no fee and no minimum period.
• To cancel, write to us at hidushfoundation@gmail.com from the email address used for the donation, or call +91 99676 52331. Please mention your name and the monthly amount.
• We will cancel future payments within 14 working days of your request.
• You may also cancel the payment instruction yourself through your bank or your UPI app.
• Cancelling stops future payments only. Monthly donations already received are not refunded, except in the cases described in sections 2 and 3.

5. Event or Program Contributions

• Contributions made towards specific events, sponsorships, or campaigns are non-refundable.

6. Tax Exemption Receipts

• Donations eligible under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 will be acknowledged with an official receipt.
• To issue it, we need your correct name, address and PAN.
• In case of refunds (only applicable in rare, verified cases like duplicate donations), the issued 80G receipt will be deemed invalid.
